Job Summary
HERE Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery, adoption, and ongoing engagement of our technology solutions to customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day customer relationships and actively participating in retaining and growing those relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders and manage cross-functionally to drive complex, strategic, and large-scale customer engagements and ensure successful customer delivery.
- Orchestrate deliveries all along the engagement life cycle through the definition and execution of necessary release management and quality assurance activities.
- Address issues in a systematic approach, coordinating across teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on criticality, timely executive visibility, and reporting.
- Work on technical consulting assignments for/with the customer.
- Work with sales to complete RFQs and translate customer needs into requirements, products, and solutions.
- Provide direct technical expertise for opportunities in one or multiple domains of knowledge.
- Act as the main technical customer interface and ensure customer requirements are understood across internal divisions.
- Provide feedback to Sales, Product Marketing, and Product Management on current and future product requirements.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- 9+ years of relevant technical experience, including 2+ years in technical project management, technical customer support, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing roles.
- Hands-on experience in SW development and troubleshooting issues reported by customers.
- Strong project management skills involving large cross-functional teams, with PMI PMP certification (or equivalent) a plus.
- Excellent consultative, advisory, organizational skills with an aptitude for proactive technical support and problem-solving.
- A strong sense of ownership of the customer account and ensuring a trusted partnership is established with the customer.
- Sound understanding of Automotive infotainment, ADAS, in-vehicle, and cloud solutions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence people outside of one's own managerial matrix and a track record of solid cross-functional stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Travel Requirements
Up to 25% travel, both domestic and international, to meet customers and suppliers as needed and frequent client visits to our major OEM in the South of Germany.
