Job Overview:

As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the housekeeping department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administrative Duties: Supporting management in various administrative tasks related to housekeeping operations, including cleaning and laundry services.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring that quality standards are communicated effectively and monitored consistently.
  • Process Optimization: Organizing and enhancing work processes to improve efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Leading and managing a team of housekeeping staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Implementing and ensuring adherence to health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
  • Staff Management: Creating duty rosters and managing personnel schedules, including vacation planning.
  • Inventory Management: Ordering and overseeing the management of cleaning supplies and materials.
  • Hands-On Support: Providing assistance with cleaning tasks as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Completed training in hotel management, housekeeping, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a similar role with leadership responsibilities is preferred.
  • A genuine passion for working with older adults and a commitment to quality service.
  • Ability to work independently with a structured approach.
  • Strong awareness of quality standards and business practices.
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
  • Excellent grooming and proficiency in the German language.
