As the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our senior residence. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of administrative and managerial tasks that ensure the smooth operation of the housekeeping department.
Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Support: Provide essential assistance in managing the housekeeping department, including cleaning and laundry operations.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that quality standards are effectively communicated and consistently monitored.
- Process Optimization: Organize and enhance work processes to improve efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and uphold health, hygiene, and safety regulations within the department.
- Staff Management: Create duty rosters and manage personnel schedules, including vacation planning.
- Inventory Management: Order and oversee the management of cleaning supplies and materials.
- Hands-On Support: Assist with cleaning tasks as necessary to ensure high standards are met.
- Completed training in hotel management, housekeeping, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role with leadership responsibilities is preferred.
- A genuine passion for working with seniors and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to work independently with a structured approach.
- Strong awareness of quality standards and business practices.
- Proficiency in standard MS Office applications.
- Excellent German language skills and a well-groomed appearance.
