We are seeking a Chief Expert in Marketing Execution - Digital Solutions (m/f/d) who will spearhead initiatives across the organization to implement a comprehensive roadmap aimed at achieving Digital First experiences and operations for SAP. This role is crucial in ensuring that our developed solutions align with customer expectations and business objectives, ultimately maximizing customer lifetime value while minimizing acquisition costs through digital-first strategies.
Reporting to the SVP of Customer and Digital Experiences, this position will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our Marketing Technology, Business Performance Management, Sales Operations, and IT delivery teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in translating business and customer requirements into technological solutions, a profound understanding of Adobe Experience Manager and its integration within the overall Marketing Stack, and in-depth knowledge of the digital requirements for a SaaS-based product go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Define business requirements across marketing and customer experience for SAP's digital platforms. Develop a unified roadmap for digital solutions in collaboration with marketing, sales, and IT leadership, ensuring alignment with product engineering and IT enterprise architecture. Lead the multi-year transition to AEM Cloud, partnering closely with the IT organization to define strategies and workstreams, acting as the primary point of contact and leader within the marketing division. Stay informed on the latest trends, maintain a strong understanding of the martech vendor landscape, and provide insights on essential capabilities for our core digital architecture. Collaborate across the organization to identify and define high-impact use cases for our digital roadmap. Establish digital solutions encompassing content supply chain management, web management and delivery, digital asset management, and digital event experiences. Balance business and technical leadership, bridging the gap between business needs and IT capabilities. Define governance principles for the 'buy vs. build' strategy concerning our digital ecosystem. Serve as a senior subject matter expert on cloud-based infrastructure for marketing and customer experience technologies, providing strong technical leadership for AEM Cloud.Qualifications
Proven experience in deploying and/or transitioning from on-premise AEM to AEM Cloud services. Over 10 years of experience in digital experience, marketing technology, Customer Data Platforms, omni-channel personalization, and lead management processes. Strong capability in managing complex organizational delivery and engaging with executive stakeholders. Proficient in communicating effectively with both IT and technical leadership as well as sales and marketing leadership.
