We are in search of a Chief Expert in Marketing Execution - Digital Solutions (m/f/d) who will spearhead initiatives across the organization to implement a comprehensive multi-year strategy aimed at achieving Digital First experiences and operations for SAP. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that the solutions we create are in sync with customer expectations and business objectives, thereby maximizing customer lifetime value and minimizing acquisition costs through digital-first strategies.
Reporting to the SVP of Customer and Digital Experiences, this key position will involve collaboration with our Marketing Technology, Business Performance Management, Sales Operations, and IT delivery teams. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in converting business and customer needs into technological requirements, a thorough understanding of Adobe Experience Manager, and insights into the digital demands of a SaaS-based product market entry strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Define business requirements for marketing and customer experience across SAP's digital platforms. Develop a unified roadmap for digital solutions in collaboration with marketing, sales, and IT leadership, ensuring alignment with product engineering and IT architecture. Lead the strategic transition to AEM Cloud, partnering closely with IT to outline approaches and workflows, serving as the primary point of contact and leader within the marketing division. Stay informed on emerging trends, maintain a robust understanding of the marketing technology vendor landscape, and provide insights on essential capabilities for our digital architecture. Collaborate across the organization to identify and define high-impact use cases for our digital roadmap. Establish digital solutions encompassing content supply chain management, web management and delivery, digital asset management, and digital event experiences. Balance business and technical leadership, bridging the gap between business requirements and IT capabilities. Set governance principles for the 'buy vs. build' strategy within our digital ecosystem. Serve as a senior subject matter expert on cloud-based infrastructure for marketing and customer experience technologies, providing strong technical leadership for AEM Cloud.Qualifications
Proven experience in transitioning from on-premise AEM to AEM Cloud services. Over 10 years of expertise in digital experience, marketing technology, Customer Data Platforms, omni-channel personalization, and lead management processes. Demonstrated ability to manage complex organizational delivery and engage with executive stakeholders. Proficient in communicating effectively with both IT and technical leadership as well as sales and marketing teams. Experience in the high-tech sector, particularly with SaaS products.
