COMOS Solutions Architect (f/m/d)

Overview of the Position

KG Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Digital Core Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Glimpse into Your Daily Responsibilities The SE DC APB PLM team is dedicated to delivering reliable and cost-effective PLM IT solutions tailored for Siemens Energy's diverse business units. As we strive for continuous enhancement in our service delivery and solution implementation, we are also focused on adopting innovative technologies, bolstering security protocols, and facilitating global business collaboration. In your role as a Solutions Architect (f/m/d) for COMOS, you will work closely with our international COMOS IT team to support our internal stakeholders. Siemens Energy operates numerous COMOS environments, serving over 1600 users. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to, assisting our helpdesk and executing COMOS projects. Key challenges for our COMOS team in the near to mid-term will involve transitioning from cDB to iDB, migrating environments, and standardizing various legacy customizations utilizing C#. Your Contributions to Success Provide L3 support to our COMOS helpdesk team, gaining familiarity with the various IT processes, COMOS environments, and business operations across Siemens Energy. Propose and develop continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing user experience for our business units. Formulate and advance strategies to ensure seamless integration of COMOS data within our PLM ecosystem, including interfaces with SAP, Teamcenter, and other IT systems. Design and present innovative ideas and strategies in internal meetings, decision-making boards, and to our business stakeholders. Manage and oversee IT projects, including budget planning, regular financial forecasting, and executive project reviews. Foster knowledge sharing and community engagement across the global PLM team. Qualifications and Skills Required Degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience in the IT sector (including potential transitions from other fields). Minimum of five years' experience in COMOS administration and development. Proficient knowledge of C# and the Microsoft .Net Framework, with experience in APIs (RESTful API, OpenAPI). Strong ability to assess technical and economic solution strategies. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; a collaborative team player with a customer-focused approach. Proficient in business English (both written and spoken) with a willingness to travel internationally; proficiency in German is advantageous.
