Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead our E-Commerce Development team at Walbusch-Gruppe. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions for our online shops.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the E-Commerce Backend Development team and drive the growth of individual team members' skills, knowledge, and expertise.
- Develop innovative and complex Internet and portal solutions for our brand online shops on a unified platform.
- Implement new features, modules, and processes using modern software development methodologies.

- Experience in Java development, preferably in a web environment.
- Strong knowledge of software analysis and design.
- Experience with portal software/E-Commerce shop platforms, CMS, preferably in the development of SAP Commerce (formerly Hybris) and First Spirit.
- Fundamental knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
- Experience in designing and implementing web services with REST and JSON.
- Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., git) and continuous integration (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab).
- Knowledge of working with containerized applications.
- Experience and enthusiasm for agile software development.
- You are a dedicated individual who brings team spirit and communication skills. The ability to effectively collaborate with various teams, such as E-Commerce, Frontend Development, DevOps, and QA, is crucial for success in this role.
