Team Lead for E-Commerce Development

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead our E-Commerce Development team at Walbusch-Gruppe. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative solutions for our online shops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the E-Commerce Backend Development team and drive the growth of individual team members' skills, knowledge, and expertise.
  • Develop complex and scalable Internet and portal solutions for our online shops using modern software development methodologies.
  • Implement new features, modules, and processes using Java and related frameworks.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in Java development, preferably in web development.
  • Strong analytical and design skills for software solutions.
  • Experience with Portalsoftware/E-Commerce-Shop-Plattformen, CMS, and SAP Commerce (formerly Hybris) and First Spirit.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Java frameworks, such as Spring Framework, Spring MVC, and Spring Security.
  • Experience in designing and implementing web services using REST and JSON.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., git) and continuous integration (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab).
  • Knowledge of containerized applications.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for agile software development.
