Farmie, a pioneer in plug & play hydroponic vertical farming solutions, is seeking an Agronomist with a focus on horticulture to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily farming operations, including seedling production, plant health monitoring, and harvesting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily farming operations, including seedling production, plant health monitoring, and harvesting.
- Engage in continuous research and testing to optimize plant combinations for maximum yield, quality, and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with the team and clients to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop and refine new farming solutions.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a degree program related to agronomy, botany, horticulture, or a similar field, with a strong preference for candidates whose curriculum requires the completion of an internship.
- A keen interest or academic involvement in vertical farming.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
