About the Role

As an HR Manager for Southeast Asia at DELO, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through effective talent acquisition and management. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company and contribute to the establishment of a second production facility in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent in Singapore and Malaysia.
  • Provide guidance and support to line managers and employees on HR matters, ensuring compliance with Singaporean Labor Law and familiarity with Malaysian Labor Law.
  • Prepare employment contracts, visa applications, employment pass extensions, salary and promotion letters, and monitor leave or absence.
  • Create and regularly update HR work procedures and the employee handbook, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify training providers and organize trainings for the Southeast Asia team, focusing on skills development and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to strategic HR projects, including the implementation of HR software and research on compensation and benefits.
  • Perform ad-hoc HR tasks, such as managing insurance packages, cooperating with universities, and conducting disciplinary actions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience in Singapore, with experience in Malaysia being a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Labor Law, HR, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in English (both oral and written).
  • In-depth knowledge of Singaporean Labor Law, with familiarity with Malaysian Labor Law being advantageous.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and proficiency in MS Teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
