Production and Logistics SAP Expert

Position: Production & Logistics SAP Expert

We are seeking a committed professional to fill the role of Production & Logistics SAP Expert. This position entails:

  • Defining process specifications to enhance and automate AV workflows
  • Creating decision frameworks to optimize SAP operational processes in manufacturing and logistics
  • Engaging in the identification and aggregation of process metrics for improved control and transparency
  • Facilitating training workshops on SAP applications and generating documentation within SCHERDEL facilities in the manufacturing and logistics sector
  • Involvement in SAP deployment initiatives S/4 HANA across SCHERDEL facilities
  • Assisting in the formulation and execution of a Key User strategy within the production network, including offering support to Key Users in manufacturing and logistics
  • Executing and strategically overseeing SAP operational processes in manufacturing and logistics in close partnership with other divisions such as procurement, sales, and quality assurance

Qualifications:

  • Technical background with additional training as a technician or academic qualifications (e.g., industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, etc.) along with initial project management experience
  • Familiarity with technical and organizational production workflows in forming and assembly technology, with practical knowledge in production scheduling preferred
  • Proficiency in SAP R3 or S4/HANA, particularly in Module PP, with experience in EWM and PPDS being advantageous
  • Affinity for IT and processes, along with a solid understanding of production workflows and their interconnections
  • Ability to work independently, with a passion for collaborative solution development and change management
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and an independent work ethic
  • Excellent proficiency in German and English, intercultural awareness, and a readiness to travel
