Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Product Owner to lead our ServiceNow initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving the technical direction and ensuring alignment with our architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Provide guidance during the planning, design, and implementation phases, ensuring solutions align with established architectural standards.
- Consulting Services: Deliver expert consulting to internal teams and platform users, focusing on ServiceNow best practices and implementation strategies.
- Configuration and Customization: Tailor the ServiceNow platform to meet specific business processes and requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
- Vendor Collaboration: Engage with ServiceNow vendors to stay updated on new releases and obtain necessary support.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee platform performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and optimize system resources for enhanced responsiveness.
- Security Management: Enforce security best practices, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Contract Management: Understand ServiceNow license modules and assist in preparing contract amendments.
- Communication: Serve as the single point of contact for all ServiceNow-related communications.
Qualifications
- Degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent IT education with several years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, scripting (JavaScript), and web technologies, with relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other systems to ensure seamless data flow.
- Proven ability to design and implement workflows and automate business processes using ServiceNow tools.
- Familiarity with security best practices and the ability to enforce security policies.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and vendors.
- Experience managing ServiceNow projects using agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
- Fluency in both written and spoken German and English is essential.
Preferred Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German are advantageous.
