Key Responsibilities
The Gas Turbine Performance Team is integral to the Asset Operations division, overseeing a fleet of 17 power plants with approximately 9.1GW of installed capacity across five countries. Our mission is to collaborate with our sites to enhance performance, create value, and align with our vision for carbon neutrality.
We are looking for you to assist in achieving our performance targets and to help define our strategic journey.
Your primary activities will include:
- HSSE: Develop data intelligence dashboards to identify trends, monitor performance, and highlight areas of concern.
- Plant Performance: Collaborate with team members, site performance engineers, and Asset Management to enhance performance metrics and propose solutions for harmonization across different regions.
- Digitalization: Partner with the GT COODE Connector and GT Central Team to support the digital transformation initiatives of the GT Fleet, including use case development and prioritization. Gain familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
- Decarbonization: Work alongside the team and sites to advance phase 2 of the decarbonization project, identifying small project opportunities and establishing a standard framework for streamlined execution.
Your Profile
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
- Proficient in building Power BI dashboards for performance management, statistical analysis, and data retrieval.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and AI principles.
- Competent in programming languages such as SQL, Python, and Anaconda libraries, along with Power BI. Interest or experience in Computer Science and Communications Technology is advantageous.
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and experience with Time Series Process Data archives like OSISoft PI, including Asset Framework, Integrator, and Vision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
