Your Role:

As a Certified Accountant, you will oversee the comprehensive management of accounting functions, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and adherence to tax and regulatory requirements for our DACH subsidiaries (Germany, Switzerland, Austria). While this position does not entail direct reports, it necessitates close collaboration with and oversight of the work conducted by group accounts receivable and accounts payable specialists, along with accountability for the general ledger in the DACH region.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Enhancing and maintaining PriceHubble's accounting procedures in alignment with best practices and both local and international standards.
  • Executing general ledger entries, including corrections, accruals, deferrals, prepayments, payroll entries, intercompany transactions, and allocations.
  • Compiling the monthly reporting package, which includes profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Managing the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Overseeing VAT/ESL and corporate income tax filings, as well as SFS preparation.
  • Improving Oracle Netsuite by integrating DACH localization packages to streamline local processes and ensure compliance.
  • Implementing internal controls, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with external auditors and tax authorities.
  • Assisting PriceHubble's VP of Finance and Group Accountant with management reporting, key performance indicators, and investor reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a professional accounting/audit certification (CPA, CIMA, ACCA, Fachmann Finanz und Rechnungswesen, Wirtschaftsprüfer).
  • 10-12 years of experience in legal entities adhering to German HGB.
  • Familiarity with German HGB, Swiss OR, and Austrian Commercial Code (UGB).
  • Fluency in German (native or C1-level) and proficiency in English (B2/C1 level).
  • 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Netsuite ERP is preferred.
  • Residence in Germany is mandatory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in formulas and pivot tables.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in enhancing process efficiencies and resolving issues.
  • Proven ability to excel in multitasking, prioritizing projects, and meeting deadlines.
