Your Role
We are in search of a skilled Junior ABAP Developer (f/m/d) to enhance our Software Logistics team based in Walldorf.
As a vital team member, you will assist in creating user-friendly applications and tools that enhance the software lifecycle of ABAP-based add-on products within the SAP S/4HANA Cloud ecosystem.
This role will facilitate partners and clients in adapting their add-ons for seamless integration into the SAP S/4HANA Cloud, thereby reinforcing our partner network and the overall perception of our flagship products.
As a Junior ABAP Developer focusing on Software Maintenance and Delivery Tools, you will collaborate within a dynamic development team in Cloud & Lifecycle Management.
Your contributions will span the entire software lifecycle: from specification and design to implementation, testing, and operational support of our solutions.
You will engage with product stakeholders and customers to align on requirements, enhancing our existing solutions to improve user experience, supportability, robustness, and simplicity.
All this will be accomplished through modern, agile software development methodologies, including pair programming and test-driven development, within a supportive, diverse, and multinational scrum team.
Qualifications
- A degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline
- Experience in ABAP programming and preferably another programming language
- Demonstrated expertise in object-oriented software development and agile practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Capacity to thrive in a collaborative team setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
- Eagerness to learn and grasp complex systems
Familiarity with cloud development and support processes or experience with software change management would be advantageous.
