Position Overview
This role centers on assisting clients in leveraging the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) for their application initiatives, positioning it as the preferred cloud platform. BTP serves as the catalyst for innovation through integration, extension, and analytical scenarios within the Intelligent Enterprise. The BTP Customer Success Partner (CSP) is tasked with nurturing relationships with technical decision-makers in designated accounts to ensure extensive utilization of the service portfolio across various application projects through Technical Advisory.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively collaborate with clients to sustainably enhance the use of SAP BTP services, coordinating efforts with the Account Team.
- Analyze overarching strategies, possess expertise in digital transformation, and provide guidance on technical and business architectures.
- Act as the primary strategic contact for SAP BTP, orchestrating success resources across SAP and client organizations, in line with the SAP BTP engagement framework.
- Assess client technical requirements and implement consumption strategies for assigned accounts.
- Offer recommendations and prepare clients to maximize the solution's potential, aligning with SAP's strategic direction and roadmap.
- Serve as the voice of the client to internal SAP stakeholders.
- Collaborate with colleagues from diverse groups, including Cloud Success Services, Account Teams, Pre-sales, Product Management, Support, Services, and Partners.
- A BTP-CSP Advisor may also be designated to deliver premium subscription services to clients.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the IT sector, with backgrounds in Software Engineering, Solution Management, Project/Product Management, Implementation, Pre-sales, Technical Customer Engagement, Customer Success, Proactive Support Services, or Consulting.
- A comprehensive understanding of one or more components of the SAP BTP portfolio, including SAP BTP Extension and Integration Suite, Cloud Databases, Cloud Data Management, and Analytics Cloud Solutions.
- Foundational knowledge of public cloud platforms and providers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud). Certifications in enterprise architecture are advantageous.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with familiarity in design thinking methodologies considered a plus.
- The ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics both within SAP and with external clients and partners.
- A commitment to continuous learning and adaptability to the unique business and cultural practices of various regions.
- A strong customer service orientation and empathy for client needs.
- A passion for exploring new technologies and a knack for problem-solving.
- Proficiency in the German language (C1 level).
