Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in enhancing health protection and fostering a culture of safety at the Freudenberg facility.
- Aid in establishing and sustaining safe working conditions concerning occupational health and safety regulations.
- Independently oversee and manage the 'Good Catch' initiative.
- Collaborate with management and staff to execute measures derived from the 'Good Catch' program.
- Ensure adherence to legal and internal regulations regarding waste management.
- Organize both routine and ad-hoc waste disposal activities independently.
- Support the preparation of necessary documentation for waste disposal processes.
- Conduct inspections for hazardous materials independently.
- Maintain accurate records of dangerous goods in the SAP system.
- Facilitate training sessions and instructional programs autonomously.
- Manage training schedules and plans independently.
- Oversee the issuance of training and instruction certifications.
- Engage in projects aimed at optimizing logistics-related hazardous materials and waste management topics.
- Verify invoices related to waste disposal services.
Required Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training in a commercial or business field, with additional qualifications in supply chain management.
- Relevant professional experience in waste management, hazardous materials transport, and occupational safety.
- Proficient IT skills, preferably with SAP experience.
- Strong process-oriented thinking and design capabilities.
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- A persuasive and engaging personality.
- High motivation and a proactive approach to contributing ideas for continuous improvement.
- Proficient in English.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
