Specialist in Hazardous Materials and Waste Management

Freudenberg is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist in Hazardous Materials and Waste Management to join our team.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies for improving health protection and health culture at the Maisach site.
- Support the introduction and maintenance of safe and healthy framework conditions in terms of occupational safety, health protection, and health promotion.
- Manage and maintain our "Good Catch" system, ensuring its effective implementation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with managers and colleagues to implement measures from the "Good Catch" system, promoting a culture of safety and health.
- Ensure the legally compliant implementation of statutory and internal waste disposal regulations, including the organization of regular and irregular waste disposal.
- Support the preparation of accompanying documents for waste disposal, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct hazardous goods inspections independently, maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Manage dangerous goods data in the SAP system, ensuring its accuracy and up-to-date status.
- Organize and conduct training and instruction independently, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Manage training plans and certificates, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in projects to optimize logistics-relevant DGSW topics, driving innovation and improvement.
- Verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Completed training in a commercial or business profession, with further training in supply chain management.
- Professional experience in the areas of waste disposal, hazardous goods transport, and occupational safety.
- Good IT skills, preferably including SAP.
- Process thinking and process design skills.
- Strong team-orientation and social skills.
- A personally and professionally convincing personality.
- High motivation and active contribution of ideas for further development and optimization.
- Very good knowledge of English.
- High stress resistance.
