Waste Management Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Waste Management Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development and improvement of health protection and health culture at our Maisach site.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the introduction and maintenance of safe and healthy framework conditions in terms of occupational safety, health protection, and health promotion.
- Independently maintain and manage our "Good Catch" system.
- Support managers and colleagues in the implementation of measures from the "Good Catch" system.
- Support the legally compliant implementation of statutory and internal waste disposal regulations.
- Independently organize regular and irregular waste disposal.
- Support in the preparation of accompanying documents for waste disposal.
- Independently carry out hazardous goods inspections.
- Maintain dangerous goods data in the SAP system.
- Organize training and instruction independently.
- Independently manage training plans.
- Manage training and instruction certificates.
- Participate in projects to optimize logistics-relevant DGSW topics.
- Invoice verification.
Requirements
- Completed training in a commercial or business profession with further training in supply chain management.
- Professional experience in the areas of waste disposal, hazardous goods transport, and occupational safety.
- Good IT skills, if possible SAP.
- Process thinking/process design.
- Team-orientation and outstanding social skills.
- Personally and professionally convincing personality.
- High motivation, active contribution of ideas for further development and optimization.
- Very good knowledge of English.
- High stress resistance.
