We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Intersnack Procurement BV. As a key member of our quality department, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our raw materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage supplier relationships and conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with Intersnack Group and Procurement procedures.
- Collaborate with buying managers to drive category strategies and achieve procurement targets.
- Develop and implement risk-based monitoring programs to ensure the quality and safety of raw materials.
- Conduct risk and food fraud assessments for designated categories.
- Agree raw material specifications with suppliers and operating companies.
- Manage supplier quality assurance systems and data to ensure information and documents are up-to-date.
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in a science-based field (e.g. Food Science, Food Technology, Food Safety, Food Quality Management, Microbiology, Chemistry).
- At least 3 years of experience in supplier quality assurance, quality management, or a similar role in the FMCG and/or food industry.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and GFSI schemes (BRC/IFS/FSSC).
- Knowledge of current EU legislation relevant to food manufacturing is preferred.
- Advanced computer literacy in MS Office and database management.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in high complexity, multicultural organizations.
- Attention to detail, good planning, time management, conflict management, and communicative skills.
- Proactive, self-motivated, problem solver with knowledge of project management.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
- Valid driving license.
