Position Overview

As a Senior Consultant, you will serve as a key authority on sales-related matters, actively participating in various stages of the consulting process.

Your responsibilities will include thorough requirement analysis, conducting Fit-gap workshops, defining workflows, and proposing viable solution alternatives. You will also facilitate collaboration across different teams to enhance the overall solution.

Additionally, you will be instrumental in developing comprehensive Cookbooks for sales, drafting functional specifications for both development and configuration, and overseeing the deployment of the complete solution.

Your role will involve guiding project teams on processes, deliverables, and contributing to the development of proposed solutions, client training, and internal capability enhancement, while also clarifying the project scope.

This position offers the chance to create impactful consulting solutions that empower our clients to adapt to the evolving global landscape.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in SAP SD and AFS, with a focus on rollout or implementation.
  • Ability to independently configure AFS SD functionalities, including Seasonality, Allocation Run, Order Management & Fulfillment, Delivery Processing, Billing, and Pricing.
  • Strong understanding of Future Orders, Contracts & Call-Offs, Reorder, Promotions, and Returns management processes.
  • Experience in translating business requirements into functional specifications and managing the entire development lifecycle from blueprint to go-live.
  • Familiarity with interface development in order booking and delivery processing.
  • Clear comprehension of master data and its interdependencies with MM and FI in the context of AFS/Retail.
  • Experience in migrating sales orders, customer master data, and seasonality.
  • ABAP debugging skills for reverse engineering purposes.
  • Experience in large-scale global projects with significant customization.

Professional Skills:

  • Experience leading workshops focused on business discussions.
  • Ability to mentor consultants in AFS SD and coordinate with remote teams.
  • Strong collaboration with various business and IT stakeholders, including teams like WMS and Development.
  • Proficiency in English and German is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FMS or AFS and knowledge of trade terms used in the AFS sector.
