Senior SAP AFS Sales Consultant

As a Senior Consultant, you will serve as a key authority on sales processes, actively engaging in various stages of the consulting lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include thorough requirement analysis, conducting Fit-gap workshops, defining operational processes, and proposing effective solution alternatives. You will work collaboratively across different streams to enhance the overall solution.
Additionally, you will be instrumental in developing comprehensive Cookbooks for sales, drafting functional specifications for both development and configuration, and overseeing the deployment of the complete solution.
Your role will also involve mentoring teams on project methodologies, deliverables, and contributing to the proposed developments, client training, and internal capability enhancement, while helping to clarify the project scope.
This position offers the chance to design impactful consulting solutions that empower our clients to adapt to the evolving global market.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven experience in SAP SD and AFS, with mandatory rollout or implementation experience.
- Ability to independently configure AFS SD functionalities, including Seasonality, Allocation Run, Order Management & Fulfillment, Delivery Processing, Billing, and Pricing.
- Strong understanding of Future Orders, Contracts & Call-Offs, Reorder, Promotions, and Returns management processes.
- Expertise in configuration related to Allocation, Pricing, Order Management & Fulfillment, Billing, and Rebates.
- Capability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and manage the entire development lifecycle from blueprint to go-live, including gap identification and impact analysis.
- Experience in interface development for order booking and delivery processing.
- Clear comprehension of master data and its dependencies on MM and FI in relation to AFS/Retail.
- Experience in migrating sales orders, customer master data, and seasonality.
- ABAP debugging skills for reverse engineering purposes.
- Experience in large-scale global projects with significant customization.
- Ability to lead workshops focused on business discussions and guide consultants in AFS SD while coordinating with remote teams.
- Professional proficiency in English and German is preferred.
- Familiarity with FMS or AFS and awareness of trade terms utilized in the AFS domain.
- Experience in full lifecycle implementation and rollout.
- Experience working in a multicultural international environment across various regions.
- Certification in SAP Sales & Distribution is advantageous.
