We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the following position:

Senior FP&A Business Partner - Global Operations & Integrated Supply Chain (d/f/m)

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team at our headquarters, working alongside a dedicated global FP&A team and colleagues worldwide to drive impactful business results, foster growth, and enhance learning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all financial management functions within Operations and Supply Chain for Leica Microsystems, serving as the Financial Business Partner for the VP of Global Operations and Supply Chain.
  • Manage the financial KPI framework, including monthly assessments, forecasts, and budget processes, while enhancing and standardizing reporting across all locations.
  • Lead initiatives to improve material and conversion cost efficiency across all manufacturing facilities.
  • Focus on optimizing working capital management, particularly regarding inventory.
  • Ensure appropriate capital allocations across manufacturing sites and guide the supply chain footprint strategy.
  • Guarantee financial compliance across sites, including adherence to the standard costing process.
  • Supervise and nurture the operations finance team, comprising 10-12 full-time employees.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's in Finance or equivalent).
  • Over 10 years of experience in FP&A or controlling within a manufacturing context, preferably in capital investment sectors.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and business insight to comprehend complex global production and supply chain networks.
  • Proven history of enhancing financial processes, including the design of budgeting and forecasting methodologies as well as reporting tools.
  • Strong leadership abilities with an emphasis on talent development in a global setting.
  • Demonstrated executive communication skills and the capacity to foster collaboration in a matrix organization.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
