Position: EMEA SAP S4 Program Lead (m/f/d)

Location: Pullach nearby Munich, Germany

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the migration to SAP S4 HANA across the EMEA region as part of the Global S4 HANA initiative, while also managing the pre-project portfolio related to SAP S4 in EMEA (including FICO projects and archiving).
  • Engage and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders from various departments and levels within the EMEA organization.
  • Work closely with the dedicated program team, project managers of preparatory projects, suppliers, and relevant line management from both business and IT sectors.
  • Facilitate project setup and manage timelines, budgets, and resources for both preparatory and migration projects to ensure successful execution of the S4 program in EMEA.
  • Act as a key representative from EMEA within the global S4 program, working independently within the REW IT Demand & Project Management team.
  • Serve as a reliable partner to various stakeholders, balancing competing priorities effectively.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of professional experience in a relevant industrial setting, preferably in IT consulting.
  • Strong background in IT project management, utilizing industry-standard methodologies (e.g., PMI, Prince 2). Knowledge or certification in Change Management is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering SAP projects within complex, multi-country environments. Previous operational SAP experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems, including an understanding of how SAP supports critical business processes in Logistics, Sales, and Finance. Knowledge of SAP data migration and testing challenges is essential.
  • Understanding of how SAP integrates with IT Enterprise Architecture and connects to critical satellite systems.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in moderating workshops and communicating with diverse stakeholders, with a results-driven approach. Capable of coordinating, managing, and delegating tasks effectively, while conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to define and create deliverables both independently and collaboratively. Experience in managing interdisciplinary teams and driving results towards objectives.
  • Excellent English language skills, with a willingness to travel occasionally.
