Since our inaugural crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter in 2011, we have successfully completed over 2,000 test flights globally.

Role Overview

Your responsibilities in this role:

  • Oversee payroll-related employee information, including timekeeping and attendance, in collaboration with People & Organization Specialists.
  • Coordinate monthly payroll processing in close partnership with our external payroll service provider.
  • Ensure accurate payroll execution through thorough pre- and post-payroll audits.
  • Address complex payroll issues in conjunction with employees and external partners.
  • Serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries, including tax and social security matters, for management, employees, and P&O colleagues.
  • Conduct payroll analyses and generate relevant reports in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including P&O, Finance, Controlling, and tax authorities.
  • Contribute to enhancements in processes and digital transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Essential skills and experience:

  • In-depth understanding of payroll operations; capable of managing and directing payroll processes, devising solutions for unique cases, and proposing process enhancements.
  • Extensive knowledge of German tax and social security laws, with the ability to apply this knowledge to a wide range of scenarios and resolve intricate cases in collaboration with partners such as tax consultants.
  • Strong familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping IT systems.
  • Understanding of standard HR KPIs and analytical methods/software, including Excel; adept at addressing both routine and ad-hoc requests.
  • Proficient in standard office IT applications.
  • Basic understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Fluent in both English and German.
