Since our inaugural crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter in 2011, we have successfully completed over 2,000 test flights globally.
Role Overview
Your responsibilities in this role:
- Oversee payroll-related employee information, including attendance and time tracking, in partnership with People & Organization Specialists.
- Collaborate closely with external payroll providers to ensure accurate monthly payroll processing.
- Conduct thorough pre and post payroll audits to ensure the integrity of payroll runs.
- Address complex payroll scenarios in conjunction with employees and external partners.
- Serve as the primary contact for payroll inquiries, including tax and social security matters, for management, employees, and P&O colleagues.
- Perform payroll-related analyses and generate reports in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, including P&O, Finance, Controlling, and tax authorities.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at process enhancements and digital transformation projects.

Required Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
- Extensive understanding of payroll processes, with the capability to manage and optimize payroll workflows, develop solutions for unique cases, and propose process improvements.
- In-depth knowledge of German tax and social security laws, with the ability to apply this knowledge to a wide range of scenarios and resolve complex issues in collaboration with tax consultants.
- Strong familiarity with HRIS, payroll, and time & attendance systems.
- Proficient in HR KPIs and analytical tools, including Excel, with the ability to respond to both standard and ad-hoc requests.
- Competence in standard office software applications.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies.
- Fluency in both English and German.
