Your Role:

We are in search of a skilled and enthusiastic Product Security Expert to act as a Security Coordinator for SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Focused Run. In this role, you will work alongside international teams and concentrate on:

  • Serving as the primary security authority for ALM Operations.
  • Providing security guidance to developers and managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Consulting on and evaluating new feature developments, facilitating threat modeling sessions, and ensuring adherence to security standards.
  • Managing security testing initiatives, including penetration testing, bug bounty programs, and FioriDAST.
  • Reviewing and updating security documentation.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
  • Delivering comprehensive security posture assessments and compliance statements.
  • Staying abreast of the latest security trends and proposing continuous improvement strategies.

Your Qualifications:

  • Experience: More than 7 years in the field of information security, ideally within a cloud context.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of information security principles, methodologies, technologies, risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments.
  • Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with security tools such as CodeQL, Checkmarx One, and Mend.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Shell) and experienced with IDEs and GitHub.
  • Security Expertise: Desired knowledge in network, operating system, database, application, and orchestration security.
  • Attributes: Inquisitive, adaptable, quick learner with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Project Management: Strong time management and collaborative skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Security+ are advantageous.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM fields.

The Customer Experience & Solutions (CXS) organization is part of Customer Service & Delivery. Our key offerings include SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Focused Run, along with an AI-driven data lake for service and support. We strive daily to simplify the operation of SAP's business applications for our customers. As part of Customer Support, we safeguard customer business value and satisfaction.
