Your Responsibilities:

Overview:

As a Cloud Solutions Development Specialist within the CLM Application Management Team, you will take charge of executing SAP's Cloud strategy with excellence. You will engage with cutting-edge technologies to design and develop microservices, overseeing the entire development lifecycle—from gathering requirements with our internal stakeholders to design, architecture, implementation, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Our mission at the CLM Application Management Team is to deliver the leading cloud-based solution for managing SAP's cloud operations, utilizing a suite of cloud-native microservices built with the latest technologies. To support SAP's expansion in the cloud, we are seeking a Cloud Solutions Development Specialist to enhance our team.

We offer flexible work arrangements, combining onsite and remote work.

Your Role:

In your capacity as a Cloud Solutions Development Specialist, you will collaborate closely with international colleagues on various development initiatives, engaging in the following activities:

  • Design and implement innovative and sustainable solutions for cloud operations using a test-driven approach.
  • Streamline and enhance existing processes and code. Conduct agile prototyping to determine the most suitable solutions for cloud operations. Develop Fiori UIs and APIs in a model-driven manner.
  • Investigate and incorporate generative AI technologies or other AI advancements to provide actionable insights for users of our functionalities.
  • Master the complete technology stack, from user interface to backend and database.

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills are essential, with an emphasis on friendliness and collaboration to cultivate a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Proficient programming skills and expertise in an object-oriented programming language.
  • Solid understanding of design patterns.
  • Proficiency in SQL is required.
  • Familiarity with ABAP and RAP is advantageous.
  • Experience with Fiori/Fiori Elements is a plus.
  • Knowledge of HTML5 and/or JavaScript is beneficial.
  • Experience in test-driven and model-driven development is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen customer focus.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Experience in agile development methodologies, such as SCRUM, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with generative AI technologies is an advantage.
  • Experience with Python programming is a plus.
