Job Overview

Careforce is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to oversee operations in the North-East region. Our mission is to leverage the advancements in RNAi therapeutics to provide effective solutions for patients facing limited treatment options. With a robust portfolio of innovative RNAi-based therapies targeting genetic disorders, cardio-metabolic issues, infections, and neurological conditions, we have successfully introduced multiple medications in recent years.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Guide, mentor, and develop a team of Key Account Managers to meet both national and individual performance objectives, offering support and coaching to enhance team capabilities.
  • Coordinate field visits alongside Key Account Managers, collaborating with the Sales Director and brand teams to devise operational strategies.
  • Work in tandem with the Sales Director, Business Operations Team, and Sales Incentive Compensation Team to establish and track performance metrics for the field team.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with Medical and Marketing departments.
  • Drive revenue enhancement and market share growth through strategic customer engagement planning.
  • Provide regular updates to the Sales Director and Country Management, and collaborate on industry events, sponsorships, and exhibitions with the Sales Director, Brand Management, and Business Operations Team.
  • Encourage the effective use of the CRM system to ensure data integrity and accurate sales forecasting.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector, with a strong background in Key Account Management; leadership experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to coach teams and foster a motivating work environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, ideally supported by a scientific degree.
