Workday Reporting and Analytics Specialist

Your Role

  • As a key member of the global Workday team, you will oversee the development and management of Global Workday Reporting and Dashboarding initiatives, providing consultation, support, and training to colleagues and the broader HR community.
  • You will cultivate strong relationships with global process owners and subject matter experts to understand reporting requirements, establishing both technical and organizational frameworks to address these needs effectively.
  • In this capacity, you will design and implement new reports, pinpoint opportunities for enhancing reporting performance and quality, while continuously exploring new system functionalities, trends, and HR best practices.
  • Your responsibilities will encompass managing projects related to operational reporting and analytics solutions on a global scale, including executing Proof of Concepts, planning projects in collaboration with process owners, creating design concepts, ensuring quality assurance, overseeing budget management, and providing training.
  • Additionally, you will establish the organizational tasks and processes necessary to facilitate and maintain Reporting Governance, which includes the development of governance guidelines and other essential documentation.
  • You will also be tasked with building and leading a Global Reporting Community within ZEISS, ensuring effective communication, ongoing improvements, and training for community members.

Your Profile

  • A degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • More than 3 years of practical experience with Workday.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Workday Reporting, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and BIRT reports, as well as Dashboards.
  • Initial experience with Workday Prism is advantageous.
  • General project management experience is required.
  • A solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Strong affinity for IT and technology.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • A background in consulting is considered a plus.
