Project Management Officer for Tax Compliance

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Officer to join our Tax Compliance team at Deloitte Luxembourg. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our tax compliance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, defining project scope, and creating project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Monitor tax compliance planning, deadlines, and project progress for large clients, ensuring effective communication with internal stakeholders and Deloitte's international network.
  • Assist in resource allocation and capacity planning by coordinating and managing the availability of resources across projects.
  • Support managers in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues, escalating blocking points, analyzing them, and proposing solutions.
  • Generate project status reports, executive dashboards, and budgeting information.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings and coordination among project teams.
  • Monitor updates to internal and/or client databases, as well as data visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Track key performance indicators and provide status updates on processes (KYC documentation collection, engagement opening, budget monitoring, invoicing, etc.).
  • Help prepare and coordinate RFPs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or University degree in administrative support, project management, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong team spirit and ability to work autonomously.
  • Curiosity and willingness to work hands-on with teams in a tax environment.
  • Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills and a professional approach at all times.
  • Results-oriented with a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent IT skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Outlook.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
