Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Analyst to join our team at StoneX in Germany. As a key member of our research and analysis department, you will play a crucial role in monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting market trends to provide actionable insights for our clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the Forex market, including currency pairs, economic indicators, geopolitical events, and central bank policies.
  • Monitor and interpret market trends, developments, and news related to Forex, and assess their potential impact on currency prices.
  • Utilize technical analysis tools, charts, and indicators to identify patterns, trends, and trading opportunities in the Forex market.
  • Generate detailed reports, forecasts, and recommendations based on your analysis to guide trading strategies and investment decisions.
  • Contribute to and create market commentary content in the form of video or written articles for client communications, social media, or other marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including traders, portfolio managers, and risk management professionals, to provide timely and accurate market insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Stay updated with industry news, regulatory changes, and market innovations to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the Forex market landscape.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine trading models, strategies, and risk management frameworks based on market analysis and performance metrics.
  • Participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions to share your analysis, insights, and recommendations with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Contribute to the development of research methodologies, tools, and systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of market analysis processes.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of market competitors, their strategies, and their impact on the Forex market, and use this knowledge to identify opportunities for competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Market Analyst, specifically in the Forex market, with a deep understanding of currency trading and market dynamics.
  • Strong knowledge of fundamental and technical analysis techniques, indicators, and tools relevant to Forex market analysis.
  • Proficiency in using financial analysis software, data platforms, and charting tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information, identify trends, and make sound judgments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate analysis, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Fluency in German and English, comfortable in written and verbal communication in both languages.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle large volumes of data while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for financial markets and a drive to stay updated with industry trends.
  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM) are highly desirable.
  • Education to degree level or equivalent.
