As a Market Development Strategy Analyst (m/f/d), you will collaborate with the Head of Strategic Market Development to generate market insights through comprehensive market and portfolio evaluations, ultimately driving strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing growth in various regions.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Market and Portfolio Evaluation: Gather and interpret international market data, including comprehensive global market reports, to create in-depth market assessments for both routine and special inquiries.
  • Competitive Analysis: Manage competitive intelligence efforts and perform regular evaluations of market and brand dynamics, proactively disseminating insights within the organization.
  • Network Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with external service providers to facilitate advanced market insights generation.
  • Internal Collaboration: Engage with internal stakeholders across various functions and regions to promote regular information sharing regarding new growth initiatives.
  • Opportunity Identification: Transform market insights into viable business opportunities.
  • Strategic Lifecycle Management: Assist in the formulation of strategic lifecycle management strategies to enhance and secure the current portfolio.
  • Sales Projections & Business Models: Create sales forecasts and business models for new products and commercialization strategies.
  • Presentation Support: Aid in the presentation of market insights and portfolio assessments to prepare decision-making frameworks.
  • Special Projects: Undertake unique projects and ensure timely delivery.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in business administration, with prior experience in the pharmaceutical or consulting sectors being advantageous.
  • Extensive experience in the development, management, and analysis of complex databases.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German and additional languages is a plus.
  • An analytical and organized team player, capable of thriving in a matrix organization.
  • A conceptual and strategic thinker with excellent presentation, communication, and assertiveness skills.
  • A high level of goal orientation and intercultural competence.
