Job Title: Senior Market Research Analyst

At IDC, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Market Research Analyst to join our European research team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on enterprise applications, including ERP, Human Capital Management, and Finance Applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our European software research team and global counterparts to develop innovative research initiatives.
  • Publish and present high-quality, actionable research on software industry trends, including forecasts, survey data, and case study analysis.
  • Support marketing, business development, sales prospecting, and support efforts with new or existing clients.
  • Scope, create, and deliver customer research deliverables to clients.
  • Drive the creation of IDC Market Shares, Forecasts, MarketScapes, FutureScape, market surveys, and other research deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a graduate-level degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience in market research, enterprise software, and/or business applications.
  • Strong curiosity about enterprise software technologies and strategies.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel.
  • Solid time and task management skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks in parallel.
