JD Logistics, a leading Chinese logistics company, was founded in 2007 and established JD Logistics Group in April 2017. As of September 30, 2023, we manage over 1,600 large warehouses across China, covering approximately 32 million square meters. Globally, we operate nearly 90 bonded, direct mail, and overseas warehouses with a total management area of nearly 900,000 square meters.

Key Responsibilities

Accountability for New Customer Operations

  • Manage and be accountable for the operating results of new clients in Germany, including revenue, collections, and profit and loss.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.

Business Development

  • Collaborate with the Intercontinental Business Development team to expand business opportunities within designated industry sectors.
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing new business prospects to drive growth in the region.

Client Relationship Management

  • Work alongside Client Managers to maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and manage outstanding receivables efficiently.
  • Address client inquiries and issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the logistics, supply chain, 3PL, or freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong understanding of the German market and the ability to navigate its business landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English and German is required; Chinese is a plus.
