Construction Engineer for Site Logistics

As a Construction Engineer focusing on site logistics, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of our construction teams. Your expertise will be essential in streamlining logistics processes and improving operational workflows within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulating logistics strategies for project planning, including the development of logistics phase plans and comprehensive logistics manuals, as well as organizing site logistics and setup.
  • Conducting thorough analyses and optimizations during logistics phases, which includes budget calculations and quantity assessments.
  • Enhancing logistics-related construction methodologies while applying LEAN Construction principles throughout the execution phase.
  • Engaging in site visits to assist operational teams in managing construction processes, encompassing tendering, awarding, and executing logistics services.
  • Aiding the construction management team in negotiations regarding contracts and procurement for logistics services; independently facilitating 5S workshops on-site to establish integrated construction processes along the value chain.
  • Acting as a knowledgeable resource during contract negotiations and claims management.
  • Participating in internal training sessions, audits, and workshops to foster continuous professional development; maintaining close collaboration with supervisors and colleagues.

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in roles such as construction manager, project manager, or similar positions.
  • Familiarity with construction site logistics is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated regions.
  • Excellent communication skills, a confident presence, and the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts are essential attributes.
