About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Engineer to join our team at Ed. Züblin AG. As a key member of our construction logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and executing logistics operations on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement logistics concepts for construction site planning, including logistics phase plans and logistics handbooks
  • Plan and organize logistics and construction site equipment
  • Conduct further investigations and optimizations within logistics phases, including budget calculations and quantity estimates
  • Optimize logistics-related construction processes, taking into account LEAN Construction principles
  • Participate in construction site operations to support the execution of construction process management, including tendering, awarding, and execution of logistics services
  • Support the construction management team in contract and tender negotiations for logistics services
  • Plan and execute 5S workshops on construction sites to create comprehensive construction processes along the value chain
  • Act as a competent point of contact during contract design and change management
  • Participate in internal training, audits, and workshops to continuously expand your knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or a comparable degree
  • Several years of experience as a construction manager, project manager, or in a comparable role
  • Knowledge and experience in construction site logistics are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within NRW
  • Excellent communication skills, confident demeanor, and quick understanding
