Construction Logistics Engineer

Position Overview
As a key player within Ed. Züblin AG, recognized as a leader in high-rise and civil engineering, you will be integral to our construction logistics operations. Our commitment to teamwork and individual growth fosters an environment where diverse projects translate into numerous career paths.
In this role, you will collaborate with construction teams to enhance logistics processes and contribute to the ongoing improvement of our operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulating logistics strategies for effective planning, including the creation of logistics phase plans and manuals, as well as organizing site logistics and setup.
- Conducting assessments and enhancements during logistics phases, including budget calculations and quantity estimations.
- Streamlining logistics-related construction workflows while applying LEAN Construction methodologies during execution.
- Engaging in site visits to assist operational teams in managing construction processes, including tendering and execution of logistics services.
- Aiding the construction management team in negotiations related to contracts and procurement of logistics services; independently organizing 5S workshops on-site to establish comprehensive construction workflows.
- Acting as a knowledgeable resource during contract negotiations and claims management.
- Participating in internal training sessions, audits, and workshops for ongoing professional development; maintaining strong communication with supervisors and colleagues.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in roles such as construction manager or project manager.
- Familiarity with construction site logistics is preferred.
- Willingness to travel within the region.
- Excellent communication skills, a confident presence, and the ability to quickly grasp new concepts are essential.
