Internship Opportunity at GIZ

GIZ is a leading international cooperation enterprise for sustainable development. We offer a unique internship opportunity in our clean energy program, which mobilizes investments in private sector clean energy projects in developing countries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support our advisors with research and prepare presentations and documents
  • Interact with industry associations, partners, and consultants to work on events and publications
  • Work with databases, including our funding database, image library, or website backend
  • Support social media activities and smaller design tasks
  • Support monitoring and reporting processes, including editing, data management, etc.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as organizing meetings, taking minutes, etc.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as a student or graduated not longer than six months ago from the start of your internship
  • Excellent command of oral and written English; German, French, or Portuguese are a plus
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PPT; experience with Canva or the Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
  • Affinity for communication-related tasks and working with IT systems, including website backend and databases
  • Interest in and identification with sustainable development cooperation
  • Strong attention to detail, reliable, creative, and self-starting personality
  • Very good time management and flexibility, strong interpersonal communication skills
