Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Procurement Manager to join our team in München, Hamburg. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for implementing large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites and power plants across Europe.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial project lead to implement large-scale carbon capture plants at industrial sites/power plants across Europe
- Contract and claim management, including setting up commercial specifications, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization of contracts
- Dealing with standardized international supply contracts and national laws
- Process link between the project and E.ON's central procurement department
- Ongoing controlling and reporting of project budgets, risk management, and supplier development
- University degree or similar with commercial background and knowledge of tendering and procurement procedures
- Several years of experience in commercial project and contract management for process plant construction, energy industry, or related sectors
- Strong capabilities as purchaser in challenging situations
- Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently, and willingness to take initiative
- Team-oriented and confident approach to negotiations and communication with suppliers and service providers
- Fluency in English and German (at least B2 level), knowledge of other languages a plus
- User knowledge of SAP BI and SAP Materials Management, MS Office skills, especially Excel
