Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Group Procurement to lead our procurement team and drive strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and formulate category-specific sourcing strategies.
  • Lead and manage a team of up to six category experts, fostering their development and ensuring effective execution of strategies.
  • Standardize and optimize procurement processes across the organization as well as identify and achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing and negotiations.
  • Consolidate and manage the supplier base for efficiency and reduced complexity.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery and provide regular reports and updates to senior management on procurement performance and initiatives.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks and ensure compliance with regulations and ethics.
  • Stay informed on market trends and drive innovation in procurement practices.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent and 7 years + experience in leading and managing a Procurement Team.
  • Knowledgeable in procurement tools and platforms.
  • Recognized Procurement Management qualification as well as project Management Qualification.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Outlook and Excel, strong data analytics skills and proven Expertise in SAP, S/4HANA and other procurement tools.
  • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English and German.
