Senior Manager Group Procurement Lead

Bauer Media Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Group Procurement to lead our procurement team and drive strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization.
About the Role:The Senior Manager Group Procurement will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, leading a team of category experts, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies that drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and enhance the overall procurement process.
- Lead a team of category experts, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives and drive business growth.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence in procurement practices.
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement leadership roles.
- Proven track record of driving cost savings, improving supplier performance, and enhancing the overall procurement process.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of category experts.
- Fluency in English and German, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
