Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive Director of Business Development to enhance our vibrant Business Development team. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in dynamic environments and enjoy embracing new challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the licensing of Adalvo's pipeline and portfolio products within the assigned region and to select multinational clients.
  • Formulate and execute strategies aligned with Adalvo's B2B objectives.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of specialized generics, oral oncology products, soft-gels, hormones, and ER products, ensuring alignment of unique selling propositions with the customer portfolio.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of resource allocation and returns, maximizing value from each deal.
  • Identify and cultivate new customer relationships while expanding existing partnerships, developing licensing and collaboration strategies in line with Adalvo's vision.
  • Foster strong relationships with partners and strategically engage with industry leaders to negotiate licensing and supply agreements.
  • Continuously assess and refine processes within the area of responsibility, ensuring seamless collaboration with other departments.
  • Understand decision-making processes and key stakeholders at target clients, ensuring comprehensive analysis of each client.
  • Present compelling business plans to the executive team clearly and effectively.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams, maintaining close communication with the R&D department regarding pipeline products.
  • Prepare business cases for licensing agreements, ensuring alignment across functions and maximizing benefits based on Adalvo's NPV targets.
  • Stay attuned to market trends and customer needs, relaying insights back to the portfolio management team.
  • Exhibit a profit-oriented and partnership-focused mindset, transforming challenges into opportunities for Adalvo.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit that aligns with Adalvo's corporate identity.
  • Work autonomously and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Generic Business Development and Licensing.
  • Experience in Biosimilars Out-Licensing is preferred.
  • A robust network and a proven record of commercial success.
  • Strong understanding of regional market dynamics.
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiation abilities.
  • Effective communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
