We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team at the Institute for Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Freiburg.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will be involved in basic scientific research in the area of voltage and ligand gated ion channels. Our research focuses on the activation mechanisms and functions of a small family of intracellularly located channels.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct experiments to study the activation mechanisms and functions of intracellular ion channels
- Develop and implement new research methods and techniques
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve research goals
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish in scientific journals
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g. molecular biology, pharmacology, physiology)
- Excellent research skills and experience in molecular biology and cell culture techniques
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
