Product Manager for Traffic Enforcement Solutions

As a pivotal part of our comprehensive traffic management offerings, you will oversee essential platform products that contribute to road safety enforcement and toll collection initiatives.

Your role will encompass global oversight of specific segments within our product portfolio, including specialized housings, vehicles, and in-vehicle systems integrated with our traffic sensor technologies. You will guide products through all stages of the management lifecycle, from conceptualization and planning of new offerings to their eventual retirement. Your primary focus will be on enhancing our traffic platform products from a commercial standpoint, fostering innovation, market relevance, and competitiveness to satisfy the diverse needs of our international clientele. Furthermore, you will serve as the product authority across various departments, ensuring cohesive product-related efforts throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and refine the strategic direction of VITRONIC's platform product portfolio.
  • Manage components of the product portfolio, including add-ons.
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to inform product development.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop comprehensive product strategies, business plans, and roadmaps.
  • Translate user insights and research findings into actionable product improvements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of product features.
  • Coordinate product launches and releases effectively.
  • Support sales teams in promoting and selling the products.
  • Define and enhance product-related services.
  • Oversee continuous product lifecycle management.
  • Represent the products at industry conferences and trade shows.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in product management, preferably within the traffic technology sector.
  • Background in mechanical or electrical engineering is advantageous.
  • Education in economics is preferred.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and conceptual abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a knack for aligning technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency in delivering impactful presentations to stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
