Product Manager for Traffic Enforcement Products

In this role, you will oversee segments of our platform product portfolio, which includes essential components for our comprehensive traffic solutions aimed at road safety enforcement and toll collection.

Your responsibilities will encompass the entire product management lifecycle, from conceptualizing and planning new products and versions to managing product life cycles and eventual product discontinuation. Your primary focus will be on advancing our traffic platform products from a commercial standpoint, ensuring they are innovative, market-driven, and competitive to satisfy the requirements of VITRONIC's diverse global clientele. Additionally, you will serve as the product authority for various departments, including Sales, R&D, Service, and Marketing, coordinating all product-related initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and refine the strategy for VITRONIC's platform product portfolio.
  • Manage specific segments of the platform product portfolio, including add-ons.
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to inform product planning.
  • Stay abreast of technological advancements to maintain the competitiveness of the product portfolio.
  • Develop product strategies and formulate business plans and roadmaps.
  • Translate user insights and research into actionable product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of product features.
  • Coordinate product launches and releases.
  • Support Sales teams in promoting and selling the products.
  • Define and develop product-related services.
  • Oversee continuous life cycle management of the products.
  • Represent the products at industry conferences and trade shows.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in product management, preferably within the traffic technology sector.
  • Background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering is advantageous.
  • Educational background in economics is preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to align technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency in delivering impactful presentations to stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated individual with a positive approach to challenges.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Fluency in English is essential.
