Ideal Candidate:As the Client Service Director at VML South Africa, you will play a pivotal role at the crossroads of our international clientele, internal teams, and partner network. Your primary responsibility will be to unify these entities to assist our clients in realizing their business objectives while enhancing our service reach and impact within the account. You will achieve this by advising clients on their marketing and communications strategies while crafting, promoting, delivering, and overseeing top-tier marketing and communications solutions to drive revenue enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:- Assessing client objectives and challenges to identify collaborative opportunities with your core team.
- Transforming opportunities into sales to optimize client revenue and engagement.
- Establishing a core set of KPIs for client engagement and ensuring thorough planning and forecasting for accounts.
- Mentoring and developing team members through coaching and career advancement initiatives.
- Working closely with your Delivery Lead partner to guarantee efficient and profitable service delivery.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience managing client relationships in an agency setting.
- A proven track record of driving growth within client accounts across various service dimensions.
- Direct responsibility for revenue and gross margin outcomes in a professional services environment.
- A comprehensive understanding of marketing and communications service delivery.
- Experience across diverse modern marketing disciplines, including brand and advertising campaigns, martech/platforms, CRM, and social media.
- Ability to translate strategic business goals into actionable plans and effectively communicate these to all levels of client organizations and internal teams.
- Strong account management and client service capabilities.
- Adept at leading and developing a team through motivation and coaching.
