About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainability Transformation Manager to join our team at Siemens AG. As a key member of our Global Business Services (GBS) organization, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability strategy and initiatives globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sustainability Strategy: Collaborate with our GBS Business Development and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) teams to further develop our sustainability strategy, including portfolio-related development, to enable our customers to accelerate their business transformation towards a digital and more sustainable future.
  • Lead Sustainability Initiatives: Initiate and lead impactful initiatives to anchor sustainability in our GBS own operations, driving business development for sustainable services to our customers.
  • Global Sustainability Community Lead: Lead the global GBS sustainability community, creating impact by driving initiatives and acting as a point of contact for our GBS businesses.
  • Sustainability Awareness and Engagement: Support our CRM teams to promote sustainability in our customer interactions, drive awareness and engagement of GBS employees, and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team.
  • Standardization and Governance: Support and drive standardization based on Corporate Sustainability governance in sustainability processes across businesses.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with communications to consistently emphasize our current sustainability priorities and operate in a multifaceted, diverse, and interdisciplinary setting.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in environmental science, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Many years of experience in business development, project management, sales, or Shared Services related to sustainability.
  • Skills: Passion for sustainability, understanding of how a Shared Service Organization generates value for customers, validated ability to design and implement concepts into daily processes, excellent communication and change management skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong self-starter, happy in global and virtual environments.
