Your Future Role
In our Mannheim facility, a diverse team of over 1000 employees from 36 countries collaborates to innovate locomotives and develop signaling and propulsion technologies for vehicles used both regionally and internationally. Our product line in Rolling Stock & Components features an extensive range of offerings within the rail sector. We are particularly focused on pioneering green and intelligent solutions, including zero-emission propulsion systems like batteries and hydrogen. You will report to the Head of RSC TRAXX Train Control PM and collaborate with a passionate and skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage subsystem activities and stakeholders from requirements gathering and analysis through to the fulfillment of project contractual obligations within the subsystem scope.
- Oversee cross-functional subsystem stakeholders, activities, and deliverables, making necessary decisions regarding engineering, product versus process, sourcing, costs, milestones, and interfaces to achieve Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Planning (QCDP) objectives.
- Coordinate and align subsystem activities with other subsystems and project teams to ensure smooth integration and functionality.
- Leverage technical project management expertise to navigate relevant phases in the V-model lifecycle.
- Maintain awareness of processes related to project and product development, including familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Utilize knowledge of functional and system/software engineering to enhance project results.
About You

- A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with functional and system/software engineering principles.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in technical project management within the V-model lifecycle.
- Understanding of project and product development processes, especially in safety-regulated sectors.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to hold team members accountable.
- Proven capability to work collaboratively as a team player with a focus on customer satisfaction.
