Internal Controls Manager

Job Summary
The Internal Controls Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of the 2nd line of defense within the Holcim Building Envelope EMEA and its affiliates. This position will be responsible for managing and coordinating the control framework, ensuring that it is integrated and aligned with other support functions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or internal auditing, with experience in risk management and control environment development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess risks and controls within existing processes, including O2C, P2P, H2R, B2R, Logistics, and Manufacturing.
- Establish and maintain a risk landscape, including the identification of potential risks and controls.
- Develop and implement a yearly analysis/project program based on the risk landscape.
- Coordinate internal policy landscape, including the proposal and approval of local procedures and directives.
- Establish, update, and deploy local procedures and directives.
- Update the applicable MCS framework at Holcim Building Envelope EMEA level.
- Train new entrants and stakeholders involved in the MCS framework.
- Perform sample control checks to ensure proper application and documentation of controls.
- Manage the yearly Control Testing process.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Internal Control, or Internal Auditing.
- International work environment experience.
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
- Fluency in English and German, with French and Dutch considered an asset.
